Hayley and Matthew’s summer wedding

So, as you know, we supply many weddings with a unique entertainment experience and this wedding was no different. We love being able to be a part of a couples special day, one they will cherish forever.

On the 22nd of June last year, we were able to be a part of Hayley and Matthew’s stunning country wedding at Eden Barn. We often work with Eden barn for various occasions, so we’re used to seeing the venue looking fantastic. This occasion was no different. This wedding blew us away! Every detail of the day had been carefully considered, including us.

We arrived at a scene that looked like it had just been pulled out of a magazine. It was just so pretty. The bride, groom and all of their guests looked fantastic and we just knew this was going to a be good wedding. The sun was shining and there was a gentle breeze in the air keeping up cool.

We set up our outdoor system so that guests could still enjoy the sun while being entertained by us. We hadn’t long set up before we had our first round of contestants. After a few rounds, it was clear that we had some pretty good shots too and well, some not so great shots – but let’s not talk about those! The bride and groom were both excellent shots. It’s a shame they didn’t win though! The winners, two of their wedding guests, were both outstanding and thoroughly enjoyed beating both bride and groom. They loved their personalised trophies too.

Here’s the bride having a go!

As the evening crept up on us, it was time for the wedding party to dance the night away and continue to make some unforgettable memories. As we were about to leave, both Hayley and Matthew thanked us for providing fun and lighthearted entertainment for their day and even gave a generous hug. It was a great way to end the day, and it left the whole laser clays team feeling appreciated.

We had a fantastic day at Hayley and Matthew’s wedding and you can read more about their wedding here. We hope the happy couple have a fond memory of this day and we wish them all the best in the future.

Hi Steve, just a few words to thank you for our laserclay experience " we were a family party of 10 adults ranging from 23 to 81 years old, plus two children 6 and 2, so we wanted a fun activity which everyone could participate in. And in threw up a few surprises in terms of which members of the family were the hotshots ! Steve and his team were very good at explaining what to do, and then giving us guidance as the session carried on. We were given plenty practice time before the scoring session began; and then we used 3 different "games" with different scoring in the competitive part. What was good with laser clay is that 5 of you shoot at the same time at the one clay, so each person has far more goes than with actual clay shooting. And the instantaneous digital scoring board gave immediate results of each shot, which of itself was a bit of fun seeing who was doing well. I would highly recommend this activity for groups of friends and family, or indeed corporate events or even weddings. you do not need any prior experience, and because the gun has no kick-back, no one needs to be afraid of using it; and for those who like to hear the sound of a clay being hit, the system gives an audio effect. The two children could not of course participate with the grown ups, but they were allowed with the help of an adult to have a go, and the two year old has been telling everyone that "I did do shooting". Some friends of one of the party are now themselves interested in renting the same cottage, and it was the activities like the laser clay and archery which are the particular attraction " regards Haydn Cooper-Smith
